KYTHIRA - A wonderful island!

Kythira is a beautiful island. They combine the natural beauty of the Ionian Islands with the rugged landscape of the Cyclades. There are numerous attractions and unique beaches for the visitor to enjoy throughout its length and breadth. One of its important advantages is the number of its settlements. Traditional or modern, on the beach or inland, the villages of the island win the impressions of the visitor.

Be sure to visit the Venetian castle of Chora, the waterfall of Mylopotamos, the fishing village of Avlaimonas and the lighthouse in Moudari of Karavas.

ACTIVITIES
The extensive network of trails that connects the more than 60 settlements of Kythera, makes the island a unique traveling paradise. Wonderful routes through verdant ravines with springs, on rugged paths that lead to dreamy beaches, old bridges and mills make the visitor feel like he is walking in time.
The magic of the rich seabed of Kythera is highlighted through underwater diving. Beautiful corals and rock formations are revealed, while a wonderful underwater world embraces and calms the visitor, thanks to the loss of gravity. Many of the underwater sea caves of Kythera are still unexplored. In Kythira there is an organized Scuba diving school.
The sea of ​​Kythera is also suitable for water sports such as Skiing, Windsurfing, Sailing, Canoeing, sea kayaking, etc.
Finally, it is very interesting to take a boat trip to the deserted beaches of the island or to visit the sea cave of the rocky islet of X (or Egg).
